Student Selection Process
An individual interested in becoming a GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) student must complete applications for both GM ASEP and Southwest Tennessee Community College. The GM ASEP application (Abode PDF, requires Adobe Reader) can be submitted in person or by mail to:

After the student has completed the online application to Southwest Tennessee Community College and completed the assessment testing, the ASEP coordinator will screen the applicant in preparation for the dealer/student interviews.
Students who have completed all requirements for entry into ASEP are contacted by ASEP Coordinator and provided a list of dealers who have agreed to sponsor the student.
Prospective ASEP students are to contact the GM Dealers on the list and arrange for an interview
Students are to notify Dale Railston when they are offered and accept a sponsorship.
