Welcome to Business Administration. We invite you to take a few moments and learn about our programs here at Southwest. There are several degree options available, depending on your interests and ambitions.
We seek to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed for immediate productivity and prolonged career success. To that end, the Business Administration Department maintains strong ties with business and industry to enhance the business curriculum.
The Business Administration Department serves a wide variety of students, diverse not only in age, race, and academic ability, but also in career goals, professional aspirations, and plans for personal success. We also offer a number of transfer courses and a University Parallel program for transfer to a four-year institution.
Programs of Study
Business Administration programs offer instruction in state-of-the-art business education to prepare students for the workforce. Although there are several areas of concentration, all emphasize management and leadership skills. A University Parallel program is also available for those wishing to receive an Associate of Science Degree and transfer to a four-year baccalaureate business program.
