The GM Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) is a two-year program sponsored by General Motors Corporation. The curriculum has been designed in conjunction with General Motors and it is mandatory that the ASEP student be sponsored by a participating GM dealership. Students interested in GM ASEP, in addition to applying to the college, must also apply for this program at the GM ASEP office on the Macon Cove Campus, Fulton Building Room 316. It is suggested that an appointment be made by calling (901) 333-4152. In addition to normal tuition and textbook costs, the student will be required to provide his/her own basic hand tool set.

Student will be required to participate in Cooperative Education and work at a Chevrolet/Pontiac/Hummer/Buick/Cadillac/GMC/Saturn/SAAB dealership.

Student may be required by General Motors to take courses in addition to core curriculum.
