Southwest Student Identification (ID) Cards are available in Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs. ID cards must be worn at all times and clearly displayed when attending classes or participating in Southwest sponsored events.
Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs provides a diverse programming that aids in the development of the student through student involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership, cultural, athletic and community activities.

- Becoming a member of the Student Government Association (SGA) for the 2014-2015 academic year. For more details visit the SGA website. All applications must be returned no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 21, 2014.
- If you are interested in becoming a member of the student newspaper The Southwest Source for the 2014-2015 academic year please submit an application (Adobe PDF, Size: 174 KB) to to Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs on the Macon Cove Campus (Farris Building, Room 1105) or Union Avenue Campus (B Building, Room 106.) Applications can also be left at the front counter of the Gill, Maxine A. Smith, or Whitehaven Centers or submitted via email to Student Activities and Multicultural Affairs. All applications must be returned no later than 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
The Southwest Source, the official College newspaper, is edited and published by the students during the fall and spring semesters. Involved students acquire experience in all aspects of journalism, writing, editing, layout and photograhy. The current volume can be viewed below or visit the archives.
