Online Advising
Online Advising is designed to direct students to the appropriate academic department and/or college services to meet their needs. You must have a valid Southwest e-mail address to receive a response. Most questions can be answered using the links on the Advising and Counseling or College website.
The current academic catalog is available online and the schedule of classes are available via My.Southwest. Please be familiar with your program of study, assigned advisor and school deadlines. Online Advising does not occur on weekends, holidays, or during registration.
Online Advising is not:
- An extensive advising service
- An alternative to meeting with your assigned advisor
- A chat line
- Career counseling
- Designed to build a class schedule
