Suspension/Probation

When a student has not made satisfactory academic progress, he/she will receive a probation or suspension notice.

Students who receive probation notices should repeat courses with the lowest grades. Efforts should be made to earn higher grades to impact grade point average.

Students who receive suspension notices should contact the Advising and Counseling office to schedule an appointment with counselors for the appeal process. The Readmission Appeal Committee generally meets the week before regular registration with suspended students who have completed the Readmission Appeal For College Level Courses form. This process is only done for the fall and spring terms.
