About Engineering Technologies

The world of technology is constantly changing and is more demanding than ever. However, the Engineering Technologies program which is part of the Technologies department at Southwest has the resources and the latest, up-to-date equipment to prepare you to meet the demands of the high-tech industry.

The program offers industry-related two-year associate degrees in seven different concentrations. The associate degrees are accredited by state, regional, and national accreditation organizations. Technical one-year certificates are also offered in five concentrations.

The program has the specific courses of study that prepare you for success in your chosen field, and instructors with extensive firsthand work experiences who guide you through your studies and field work.
