Southwest employees and students are invited to the 3rd Annual Women Business Owners Opportunities Conference (WBOOC) to be held June 19-20, 2008 at the Macon Cove Campus.
On Thursday, aspiring and new business owners can participate in the Business Boot Camp and learn how to develop and present your business plan. Existing business owners have an opportunity to meet with several corporate and government buyers to discuss their procurement opportunities and bidding procedures. No appointment necessary!
Friday's activities consist of sessions, panel discussions and presentations by leading women business owners on how to start and stay in business. A variety of exhibitors will be on hand to discuss their products and services.
Lynn Norment, managing editor of Ebony magazine is the luncheon keynote speaker for this event.
