Donations for the smART Auction
The smART Art Auction and Fundraiser has been rescheduled and will be held February 20, 2010, 7 p.m., at Burke's Books.
The Honors Academy is actively soliciting donations of original works of art for the smART on Cooper art auction/fundraiser to be held at 7 p.m. on January 30 at Burke's Books, 936 S. Cooper Street. We would especially like to showcase art created by Southwest students, faculty, alumni, and friends. All proceeds go toward the Honors Academy Student Activity Fund.
Guidelines:
- Donations should be made as soon as possible. Please make arrangements by Friday, January 22 at the latest.
- Bring donations by B-210, the Honors Office on Union Avenue, P-2, the Honors Office on Macon Cove. Better, contact Douglas Branch, Associate Director, to arrange a pick-up of donations. Contact him by email: dbranch@southwest.tn.edu
- Photographs and paintings should be in "ready to hang" condition.
- Donations may include, but are not limited to, paintings, photographs, pottery, and sculpture. Artwork should be original and, if possible, signed by the artist.
- There will be a place for artists with business cards to distribute them at the auction.
We appreciate very much any donations, and we look forward to another wonderful--our third annual--"smART on Cooper" Honors Academy Art Auction.
