Southwest Sets National Library and Amnesty Week
The Department of Library Services at Southwest Tennessee Community
College (Southwest) has declared April 15-20, as National Library and
Amnesty Week at the College. The event is designed to allow individuals to
return all overdue books, videos, audio cassettes, compact discs and
slides to the library without being fined or penalized.
Southwest's observance of National Library Week is also aimed at providing
the community an opportunity to get a first-hand view of the library
facilities at the following locations: Freeman Library, Macon Cove Campus,
5983 Macon Cove; Jess H. Parrish Library, Union Avenue Campus, 737 Union
Avenue; Whitehaven Center Library, 3035 Directors Row, Building 6; Gill
Center Library, 3833 Mountain Terrace; and the Southeast Center Library,
5396 Mendenhall Mall.
Overdue library materials can be brought to the counter or placed in the
book drop at all of the sites. In addition, a User Satisfaction Survey
will be available for all attendees to evaluate the products and services
offered by the Department of Library Services.
