Fall Registration Set at Southwest

Registration for the 2002 Fall Semester at the two main campuses of Southwest Tennessee Community College is scheduled from 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 22, and Friday, August 23. Late registration is set for 9a.m. – 6:30 p.m., August 28-29. Registration at Southwest’s Macon Cove campus, 5983 Macon Cove, will be held in Nabors Auditorium . Registration at the Union Avenue campus, 737 Union, will be held in the B-Building, 106. Classes for Fall 2002 begin August 28.

In addition to the two main campuses, on-site registration will be held at the following centers: Whitehaven, 3035 Directors Row, Building 6, Wednesday, August 21, 12 noon-6:30 p.m.; Fayette County Career Center, 121 West Court Square, Somerville, Tennessee, Thursday, August 22, and Friday, August 23, 2 – 6 p.m.; Millington, Naval Support Activity, Building 241, Thursday, August 22, and Friday, August 23, 2 – 6 p.m.; Gill Center, 3833 Mountain Terrace, Thursday August 22, and Friday, August 23, 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.; and the Southeast Center, 5396 Mendenhall Square Mall, Thursday, August 22, and Friday, August 23, 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.

Current students must first see their advisers before registering. Students enrolling for the first time must complete the admissions process. Individuals interested in attending Southwest should contact the Admissions and Records Office, at (901) 333-5924.

All fees for regular registration must be paid in full by 4:30 p.m., August 28. Students who expect their fees to be paid by financial aid or another source of special funding must make sure that all requirements have been completed to receive the expected funding. Fees can be paid on-campus by cash, money order, personal check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
