Southwest Computer Resource Center to Host Certification Open House January 10
Southwest Tennessee Community College has slated a community-wide open house Thursday, January 10, 2-7 p.m. The event will offer prospective participants an overview of skills-building and certification opportunities available at the college's Computer Resource Center (CRC). It will be held at Agricenter International, 7777 Walnut Grove Road, Wing B, second floor, rooms OM36 and OM37.The center offers a comprehensive variety of computer application seminars, awarding Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEs).
Southwest instructors, along with representatives of the Athena Computer Learning Center and the college's Regional Cisco Networking Academy, will give presentations on MOUS, Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW), A+, MCSE, Net+ and Cisco. They will also be available one-on-one for participants who want in-depth information about particular seminars. Special information on Windows XP, Macintosh OSX, QuickBooks and Great Plains Accounting software will be available.
The Computer Resource Center is
located on the Macon Cove Campus, 5983 Macon Cove, in the Richard D.
Sulcer Building. The seminars are open to the general public or may be
customized to meet individual business needs and delivered on a contract
