Southwest's New Training Program Offers WINNING Solution
The Workforce Investment Network (WIN) at Southwest Tennessee Community
College will be conducting orientation sessions for new enrollees on
Saturday, March 9, and Tuesday, March 12. The March 9 session is set for
10 a.m., at the Memphis Leadership Foundation, 1548 Poplar Avenue. The
March 12 session is set for 2 p.m., at Southwest's Workforce Development
Center, 3545 Lamar Avenue.
WIN is designed to assist youth between the ages of 19-21 in securing job
training and employment, vocational/technical training, and post-secondary
degrees or certification. Individuals interested in this innovative
program should bring the following documentation to the orientation
session: social security card, proof of age, and proof of income.
