Southwest's Nursing Department will Sponsor Review for RN
Licensure Exam

Southwest Tennessee Community College is the host institution for a review course of the National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Sponsored by Southwest's Department of Nursing, this NCLEX-RN review session is available to all graduates of registered nursing programs. Sylvia Rayfield and Associates will offer the course from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., May 16-18, on the Union Avenue Campus, Nursing Building, 301 Walnut.

The cost is $239 in advance or $250 at the door. Seating is limited and no personal checks will be accepted at the door.

Southwest's Nursing Department was recently awarded the maximum accreditation of eight-years by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Last year, Southwest's nursing graduates did extremely well on the NCLEX-RN. The Southwest graduates had a 100 percent pass rate on the NCLEX-RN during the first reporting period, and a 96 percent pass rate during the second reporting period. The national average for the NCLEX-RN was 85.7.
