SPRING REGISTRATION WILL BE JANUARY 8 AND 9 AT SOUTHWEST
Regular registration for the 2004 Spring Semester at Southwest Tennessee Community College will be January 8 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and January 9 from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Late registration will be January 14 and 15 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
At the Macon Cove Campus, 5983 Macon Cove, new and returning students will register in Nabors Auditorium. At the Union Avenue Campus, 737 Union Avenue, registration will be in B-Building, room 106 for returning students and in the theater of the Verties Sails Building for new students. Students may also register online at www.southwest.tn.edu.
On-site registration also will be held at the following centers:
• Whitehaven Center, 3035 Director’s Row
• Fayette County Career Center, 13520 Highway 59 West, Somerville
• Southeast Center, 5396 Mendenhall Square Mall
• Millington Center, Naval Support Activity, Building 241.
• Gill Center, 3833 Mountain Terrace
Classes for the Spring Semester begin January 14.
Current students must first see their advisors before registering. Transient students must complete the admission process, have documentation of course prerequisites, and have a copy of their college transcript. Individuals interested in attending Southwest should call the Admissions and Records Office at (901) 333-5924.
Southwest offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees for transfer to four-year colleges and universities, Associate of Applied Science degrees for immediate career entry into technical, business, service, education and allied health fields, and technical and academic certificates to prepare individuals for entry-level positions in the marketplace.
