TSBDC TO OFFER SPRING PROGRAMS AT RENAISSANCE CENTER
The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), sponsored by
Southwest Tennessee Community College, will be holding Spring programs
at The Renaissance Center Starting in April.
TSBDC is designed to provide comprehensive assistance to small
businesses thereby promoting growth and increasing productivity in an
effort to foster greater economic development in the Memphis area.
The training sessions will include The First Step, Internet Marketing
for the Financially Challenged, Developing a Business Plan and Basic
Accounting for a Small Business. Costs of the sessions range from Free
to $20, and are held at the Renaissance Center at 555 Beale Street.
Classes will also be held in May, and June.
On Saturdays, TSBDC offers After Business Planning Series where
business owners can learn about topics such as cash flow management,
forecasting, management control, target marketing, inventory control,
human resources and much more. These classes are offered from April 2
through June 18 on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Renaissance
Center.
The TSBDC offers one-on-one counseling to offer business owners help
determining the needs that will help them promote the business specific
services. Owners and staff can attend training on relevant business
subjects such as buying and selling abroad, e-commerce, marketing,
financial statements, and starting and managing a small business.
