TSBDC TO OFFER SMALL BUSINESS WORKSHOPS AT THE RENAISSANCE CENTER

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC), sponsored by Southwest Tennessee Community College and the U.S. Small Business Administration, conducts entrepreneurial workshops at The Renaissance Center for new and existing small businesses.

TSBDC is designed to provide comprehensive assistance to small businesses thereby promoting growth and increasing productivity in an effort to foster greater economic development in the Memphis area.

The training sessions will include The First Step, Internet Marketing for the Financially Challenged, Developing a Business Plan, Starting a Day Care Center, Basic Accounting for Small Businesses and others. Costs of the sessions range from Free to $45, and are held at the Renaissance Center at 555 Beale Street.

Beginning this fall, the TSBDC will offer its “After Business Planning Series” where business owners can learn about topics such as cash flow management, forecasting, management control, target marketing, inventory control, human resources and much more. One-on-one counseling is also offered to business owners needing help in establishing or expanding their small business.
