SOUTHWEST’S LITERIARY CLUB SPONSORS POETRY READING

The Pierian, Southwest’s Literary club, is sponsoring the Coffeehouse 2007, an evening of poetry reading. The Coffeehouse will open Thursday, April 19, at 5 p.m. on the Macon Cove Campus in the Farris Building, Room-A /second floor.

The public is invited to come out and enjoy Starbucks coffee, perform their own original poems and hear the performances of other poets.

Pierian assists emerging writers in preparing their works for publication and has sponsored campus workshops in both fiction and poetry. Come and celebrate poetry at Southwest.
