Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

Business, Accounting and Paralegal; Engineering Technologies; Hospitality; Industrial, Environmental and Graphics Arts; Office Administration and Information Technologies Scholarships (BEHIO)

Scholarships and/or books are available for a degree seeking student in the areas of BEHIO.

Criteria

  1. The recipient must be enrolled in one of the above listed programs
  2. Demonstrated aptitude in one of the specified departments
  3. Minimum 2.75 GPA in major related programs
  4. Recipient may be a full or part-time student

Reference

A letter of reference is required from a faculty member in the department of the student's major.

Procedure

Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process

Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to twenty (20), whose applications are forwarded to the BEHIO Scholarship Committee for final selection.
