Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship

One scholarship is available for tuition for one semester.

Criteria:

Documented community service
Must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA
Enrolled full-time
Renewal based on the recipient’s documented community service each semester

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process: Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to three, whose applications are forwarded to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Committee.
