Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

INSOUTH Bank Scholarship

Two scholarships are available for tuition ($650 per semester) for two academic years (four semesters).

Criteria:

  1. Full-time student  
  2. Current-year high school graduate, first-time freshman  
  3. Demonstrated high academic standards in high school (2.5 GPA is required)  
  4. Any degree program  
  5. Memphis or Shelby County resident  
  6. Must not be the recipient of any other scholarship  
  7. Must demonstrate financial need    
  8. Scholarship is renewable for the second academic year provided a 2.5 GPA is maintained for each semester

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process: Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to four, whose applications are forwarded to INSOUTH Bank for selection of the recipient.
