Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

Alvin O. Jackson Scholarship

One scholarship is available for tuition/fees and a $300 book allowance for two consecutive years (four semesters).

Criteria:

Full-time student, new or returning
Any degree program
Minimum 2.8 GPA
Applied for and found to be ineligible for financial aid
Must not be the recipient of any other scholarship

Reference:
Submit a letter of recommendation from each of the following:
                1. Church
                2. High school
                3. Longtime associate

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.
