Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

Assisi Foundation Biotechnology Student Scholarship

Five academic scholarships are available for students majoring in Biotechnology. Tuition and fees are available for one academic year.

Criteria:

Must be a Biotechnology major
Financial Aid recipients are acceptable
Must have completed BIOT 1010 or enrolled in BIOT 1010 during the fall 2007 semester
Must have a college GPA of 2.75 and a minimum of 12 college credits, including one science course,
or
Entering freshman, must have earned an 18 on ACT and a high school GPA of 2.75
Must be enrolled full-time

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Foundation Scholarship Office, by March 15.

Selection Process: Southwest Tennessee Community College Foundation Scholarship staff will forward applications to the Biotechnology Faculty for final selection.
