Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

David C. Scott Memorial Scholarship

One scholarship for tuition ($500) for one semester. Scholarship is nonrenewable.

Criteria:

  1. Full-time Engineering Technologies major Technology degree-seeking student  
  2. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA  
  3. Completed a minimum of 37 hours at Southwest (second-year student)  
  4. Must not be receiving any other scholarship  
  5. Must never have been on academic probation or suspension

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process: Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to three, whose applications are forwarded to Jim Willis for the final selection.
