Financial Aid - Scholarship and Criteria

Mandy C. Powell Endowed Memorial Scholarship

One scholarship is available for tuition and fees each semester.

Criteria:

Full-time student
High school GPA of 2.8, 2.5 cumulative GPA is required to maintain the scholarship
First-time freshman
Open to anyone pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Engineering Technologies or Information Technology
Must be a Tennessee resident

Procedure: Submit application to the Southwest Tennessee Community College Financial Aid Office by March 15.

Selection Process: Southwest Tennessee Community College Scholarship Committee narrows field of applicants to five candidates, whose applications are forwarded to the MPEMS Committee for selection of the recipient.
