Participation in the honors program creates a variety of opportunities and benefits. Among these are library privileges at area colleges, study/travel abroad , research opportunities, scholarships, unique study environments, honors degrees, travel to four-year colleges, participation in conferences, awards ceremonies, spring break educational opportunities, special registration, networking with students across the country, and the chance to collaborate with community leaders on issues facing our community.
Honors is an opportunity for students at all Southwest locations to improve themselves and the college community while preparing for the future. Students are selected for their ability and potential to help expand the scholarly community at Southwest.
