What is required to borrow library materials? Students, Faculty and Staff. You will need a valid College ID
Community - You will need two forms of ID verifying your current address.
How can I clear a library hold? Overdue materials must be returned and fines paid in full.
How do I request a book from another library to use? Pre-arrange this request with staff at the Public Service desk or request a title via CyberCAT. Materials are transported between Freeman, Parrish, Gill, Southeast and Whitehaven libraries. 
How do I renew materials online? Login to My Record in CyberCAT. The barcode number is located on the college I.D. or renew online.
What is the password to access TEL from home? Use elvis as the password.
Where do I pay my fine? Fines and fees are paid in the Business Office or Administrative offices at Gill Southeast or Whitehaven.
Can I return materials borrowed from one library to another? Materials borrowed from a Southwest library can be returned at another Southwest library conveniently located near you.
When will the library hours change? The libraries operate on a reduced schedule when classes are not in session.
What is the loan period for books? Books are loaned for 28 days.
Can reference books be checked out? No, reference books are used in the library only.
Can I renew my materials? Items may be renewed once.
How can I request new materials? Use the material request form
How many items can I check out? Up to ten items may be checked out.
How can I get remote access to electronic databases from home?
 
Students, faculty and staff will be authenticated with their Southwest username and password.
