Pam Trim, Interim Department Chair
The mission of the Mathematics Department is to provide the mathematical skills required for career and transfer programs, and to prepare students for success in a culturally diverse environment. The department offers a University Parallel Associate of Science Degree with an emphasis in Mathematics for transfer to four year mathematics programs. This degree program is designed for students wishing to transfer to baccalaureate degree-granting institutions. Additionally, the Mathematics Department's courses also fulfill the general education requirements for all Southwest Tennessee Community College degree programs.
