Bike Patrol Unit

The Southwest Tennessee Community College Bicycle Patrol has supplemented the Patrol Division. Bike patrol officers complete a rigorous 40 hour Police Bike course that certifies each officer to effectively patrol on a specially-equipped mountain bike. The Bike Patrol allows officers to patrol areas that are not usually accessible to officers in a car while allowing for a more rapid response than an officer on foot.
