The Access to Pathways Autism Camp (APAC) is an opportunity to provide local high school seniors with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) a traditional program that equips them with the skills and resources needed for college success.

The 2021 APAC will be 100% virtual and free. To apply, you must be a high school senior at a local Memphis high school, be committed to applying to SWTCC for fall 2021, and have been officially diagnosed with ASD.

APAC will be a partnership with the Transformations Autism Treatment Center (TATC).

Online Resume Review Days

Have your resume reviewed by a member of the Career Services team. (To create or update your resume, you can use Optimal Resume™, a free online resume-builder with many samples and formatting options. Also at this link is a video that shows you how to create your account and use many tools within the software to create your resume.)

March 29th (Mon)-April 2nd (Fri)

To have your resume reviewed, choose one of the following options:

  • Option #1: Email your resume as a MS-Word attachment to careerservices@southwest.tn.edu
  • Option #2: If you used Optimal Resume™, to create your resume, select the “review center” tab within the platform to send a review request message to Career Services
  • Option #3: Schedule a 30-minute online resume review appointment with Career Services by going to: https://swtn.navigate.eab.com and selecting “Career Services” as the care unit, then follow the system prompts to select your preferred day and time.

Peer Mentors are available to mentor and assist in connecting you with resources about campus activities and services. They are there to encourage you and help you move forward towards your degree. If you would like to be connected to a peer mentor, please reach out to Mrs. Alma Rutledge at anhernandez@southwest.tn.edu.

If your grade could be improved, know that tutoring is available! If you have the Navigate app, follow the instructions to Get Assistance and make an appointment for tutoring just like you made an appointment for Advising.

If you’re on a computer, please log into Navigate (https://swtn.navigate.eab.com) either in the My.Southwest.tn.edu portal or select below “Make An Appointment” on the ASC webpage. Once you’ve logged in, please Select “Get Assistance.” Locate in the dropdown menu “Academic Support/Tutoring,” and then select your Service as “Tutoring.” Please, then select your course, tutor, and time.
