American College Test (ACT): Residual and National

One government issue photo ID is required for all testing.

Southwest is a Residual testing center for the ACT®. The results of this test will only be reported to Southwest. Students who want to have ACT® results sent to other colleges, institutions or agencies must take the National ACT® on one of the five national test dates. In addition, the Union Avenue Campus administers the National ACT® in April, June and December of each year.

Students Under Age 21:

ACT® is the placement test required for any student who is under age 21, unless they are college transfer students and have received credit with a grade of “C” or better in English Composition and college algebra from a regionally accredited college or university.
