National League for Nursing (NLN) Examination

Students desiring entry into various schools of nursing are required to submit results from the National League for Nursing examination.

To register, pay a $70 fee (non-refundable and non-transferable) in the Cashier's Office on the Macon Cove Campus. Bring the receipt to the Testing Center to schedule an appointment before the deadline date. The receipt must be brought to the Testing Center no later than a day before the exam you are trying to register for. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Students will receive test results at the end of the examination. Six (6) months must elapse before retesting. Students scoring between 90 and 99 may contact the Nursing Department for approval to test in three (3) months instead of six (6) months. This approval letter must be received by the Testing Department prior to scheduling a three (3) month retest. Walk-in registration is not allowed. Scores from this examination must be submitted to the Admissions Office, M Building, Room 132 before the deadline date for the fall semester (February 1) or spring semester (October 15).
