“Fuel for Finals” nourishes students taking winter finals
Fuel for Finals,
is one of the myriad ways the SSP encourages and supports students. The 4-day event, Dec. 10-13, nourished students both physically and emotionally. Free snacks, breakfast and lunch were provided to students studying for winter finals at the SSP Hubs. In addition to providing food, a poster for well-wishes
allowed students to write messages of encouragement to their fellow classmates. Student remarks revealed how beneficial and meaningful the event was to them: This really helped me get my energy going, especially for a 2-hour exam!
Thank you for these pastries, they are a great way to start the morning!

Emma Osborne looked forward to Fuel for Finals
each day. You guys are really helping students by supplying all the caffeine that we need,
said Osborne.

Career Services Specialist and Intern Coordinator Courtney Ward said the event is a fantastic and convenient way to keep students on track for their finals --Students think better when they are not hungry!

Students left several messages for their classmates on the poster for well-wishes.
