MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Help TBR choose the next LMS vendor
Your voice, your vote, is needed by the Tennessee Board of Regents to select the next Learning Management Systems vendor. This critical decision will affect every TBR institution including Southwest. All faculty, staff, students and stakeholders are encouraged to weigh in on this important decision.
TBR has designed an online format for you to choose among the three vendors chosen as finalists - Blackboard, D2L and Canvas. Each has prepared a pitch to you via a virtual presentation scheduled between March 31 – April 2. Links to each presentation are given below.
With institutions moving to an online learning environment due to the Coronavirus outbreak, faculty and students are in an opportune position to help choose the best digital learning management platform for the College.
Please share this information with other students and colleagues. Strong participation is an essential element for the evaluation process!

NOTE: All virtual presentations will be held, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. CT.

Blackboard Collaborate sessions can be joined from a desktop, laptop or mobile device. After opening the link, click on “Blackboard Collaborate” at the top of the screen. Select which session you are joining, type in your name and select “Join Session.”
