General Advising Notes

Working with the program coordinator, the General Technology Major drafts a degree contract listing all course the student will complete to earn the degree. Contracts are initiated by the program coordinator and approved by the Department Chair. Contact the Department to schedule an appointment.

Students must take a minimum of 21 hours in ONE common technology specialty. (Specialty concentration courses)

Students may take 9 hours in technical areas outside of their technology specialty. (Supporting technical courses)

In some cases, students may choose to take all of their courses in one technology specialty area.
