General Advising Notes

These courses are embedded within Computer Engineering Technology AAS except for ENTC 1124 & ENTC 1114.

  • - ENTC 1124 may be substituted in the TC with any higher-level math course, such as MATH 1740.
  • - ENTC 1114 can be substituted in the TC with EETC 1313 or EETC 1314.
  • - There is a technical elective in the Computer Engineering Technology AAS that either of these courses will satisfy.
  • - Learning support courses are not required for this certificate. However, if pursuing the CENT AAS degree simultaneously, see Helpful Hints below.

Students pursuing an AAS degree are encouraged to take the ACCUplacer college placement test after completing ENTC 1124, thereby better preparing for math placement exam.
