THIS IS A SPECIAL ADMISSIONS PROGRAM

This is a 12 month Special Admissions Paramedic Training Program. Students MUST be Licensed in the state of Tennessee as an EMT Advanced to be considered for admission.

Deadline to apply is July 1st. Application by June 1st is preferred. Testing and interview process is requiref for selection.

MALPRACTICE: Students are required to obtain malpractice insurance for participation in the Paramedic program. Malpractices insurance should be good for one year from the beginning of the paramedic program.

PROGRAM COSTS: in addition to tuition and lab fees, students may have additional costs ranging from $400-$1,000 to cover uniforms, physical examinations

This is a 12 month technical certificate with all courses in a single semester as co-requisites, and all previous courses required as prerequisites. Permits are required for courses. Contact department for permits.

Milestone Courses

Based on prior students experiences, students who do well in these courses are more likely to graduate on time in this program.

All courses must be passed with a C (77%) grade or higher in order to be eligible for National Registry Certification Exams.
