Calvin Sanford is this month's student spotlight. Sanford, a former Southwest Tennessee Community College student and CEO of marketing company Marketality, is a 2023 Alumni of the Year award recipient. During his time at Southwest, Sanford was a member of Project MOST, an organization that provides helpful resources, scholarships, and support to students while they are completing their academic studies. Sanford shares the impact Southwest had on his life academically, personally and professionally. If you are new to FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or need more information, seize the opportunity to attend one of our information sessions throughout April at our Macon Cove Campus. This year’s FAFSA form has some changes from last year, so you won’t want to miss out on attending these sessions. FAFSA is used to determine state and federal financial aid for college including the TN Promise. The sooner you apply, the greater your opportunity to receive financial aid.
