Grievance/Appeal Policies & Procedure
Southwest policy, Americans with Disabilities Act Grievance Procedures 5:00:00:00/2 was last updated July 1, 2000
A student who is receiving accommodations can submit a Grievance/Appeal form with a written statement to the Center for Access (Disability Services) for the following:
- Student does not agree with the accommodations approved by the Center for Access (Disability Services)
- Student has perceived discrimination
- Student been denied an accommodation
- Student is not satisfied with the resolution of a reported grievance
Every effort will be made to resolve the grievance in an effective and timely manner. Students should expect an initial response to the Grievance/Appeal form within three (3) days of receipt with the goal, save extenuating circumstances, of a resolution within 10 days.
The College reserves the right to make changes to its written policies, rules, and regulations at any time.
