The Nursing, Natural and Biotechnology Sciences building on the Union Avenue Campus reopened Monday, Sept. 21 after closure over the weekend for cleaning and sanitation in accordance with safety guidelines outlined in the Back to Campus Plan.

The building was identified by a student who recently self-reported testing positive for covid-19. The student last visited the Union Avenue campus Sept.17. The College is performing contact tracing and notifying individuals who may have been in contact with the student.

All Southwest students, employees and visitors who test positive for COVID-19 are encouraged to self-report online on the coronavirus section of the Southwest website. The form only takes a few minutes to complete and all information will be kept strictly confidential.

Please review the College's infectious disease policy and stay tuned for updates via email and on the College’s coronavirus website at www.southwest.tn.edu/coronavirus.
