Inter-Library Loan Periodical/Book Request
We provide a service to search for and borrow items not owned by Southwest from other participating libraries. Please allow up to 2-weeks to fill a request. Provide as much information as possible.
Librarians provide a 45-50 minute hands-on session on the proper use of library resources and services. Sessions are conducted in a computer lab, classroom with computers, or online (webinars). We provide general orientations, or instruction tailored for a specific assignment: Career Research, Research papers, Public Speaking
Feedback from surveys help to improve future presentations
We welcome recommendations on the purchase of resources to build or enhance the collection. The final approval is at the discretion of the Executive Director. Provide as much information as possible.
Textbooks and other items are placed in the library for 2-hours on-site use. The completed form should accompany the resources. The library does not purchase books for this collection.

You can use this form to renew checked out materials or login and renew via the online catalog.
Research Coach Request
Librarians are scheduled to assist with research requests. The sessions vary from 10-15 minutes and may be completed in person or by telephone.
Reserve Book Request
Students can request copies of a limited number of pages from a reserve textbook. We will send scanned pages to the library of your choice, and you can copy the pages at a charge of $.10 per page. Requests are processed within 24 hours. Expect notifications by email concerning the status. This service is not a substitute for purchasing a textbook.
