TECTA Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions concerning the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) program are listed below.
The schedules are mailed out the first week of July, the first week of December and the first week of May.
For TECTA you only need to take the Orientation once. You can only take the same type Orientation every 3 years. You can take different types of Orientations as often as you would like. However, we recommend you move on to college coursework once you have completed an Orientation.

The eligibility requirements are: work in child care and have attended a TECTA Orientation. If you meet the eligibility requirements, register for course and complete the TECTA Financial Support Packet.
