Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Information

If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa honors society, you have earned the right to wear PTK graduation regalia during the ceremony. It is your responsibility to order and pay for this regalia from the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society website. Only members can log into the website and purchase PTK graduation regalia.

PTK offers a variety of honors items including an honors stole, gold tassel, and double honor cords. You may choose to purchase and wear the items you want, if any. The college does not restrict the PTK regalia that you choose to wear.

Finally, PTK members of good standing who graduate with a degree may have the golden Athenian seal embossed on the diploma and may have the Phi Theta Kappa designation on the transcript. If the seal is not on the diploma, please email the chapter advisor and do *NOT* frame or otherwise encase the diploma until the seal can be applied.

GPA requirement for PTK is 3.5, and 12 college level hours completed at Southwest.
