Course Reserves

Use the Course Reserves to search for textbooks and other supplemental class materials provided by instructors for student use in the library. You must be an active student, staff, or faculty member to access course reserves. The library maintains course reserves at the request of the instructors to ensure that all the students enrolled in a course have an opportunity to use them. These materials are not for sale.

The college ID or student ID number is required to borrow items for 2 hours of use in the library with one renewal and with fines attached. The collections vary at each location and cannot be transferred. Items are available on a first-come, first, serve basis.

Observe copyright laws. The cost is $.10 per print using our self-service copiers, which accept coins and dollar bills. The MyPrint credit does not apply to copiers.

Faculty members provide textbooks for the course reserve collections. Ask your professor to supply a copy of your textbook to the library if you do not see what you need in the catalog.

Students can request copies of a limited number of pages from a reserve textbook. We will send scanned pages to the library of your choice, and you can copy the pages for $.10 per page. Requests are processed within 24 hours. Expect to receive emails about the status of your request. You cannot use this service as a substitute for purchasing a textbook. This service is subject to copyright restrictions.

If you are a first-time user, we suggest viewing the Course Reserve video before starting.
