Back to CampusSouthwest Tennessee Community College has released a snapshot of what employees and students can expect during all four phases of its Back to Campus Plan. The timeline and activities of Phases I –IV are contingent upon health and safety guidelines and current pandemic conditions and are subject to change. Only essential workers, students taking lab-based instruction and select workforce development programs and vendors will be allowed in designated buildings and areas. Health screenings will be required for access. Visitors will be off limits.

Phase II (Fall 2020): Includes Phase I and the reopening of the Maxine A. Smith and Whitehaven centers for limited hybrid courses including the Funeral Service Education Program, Tennessee Small Business Development Center and Campus Childcare centers. The Student Affairs and Cashier’s offices will see students face-to-face by appointment only at the Macon Cove and Union Ave. campuses.

Phase III (Spring and Summer 2021): Includes Phase I and II with the addition of limited library, cafeteria and bookstore services. Student Affairs and Cashier’s offices remain open by appointment only.
