Southwest Women's Basketball Announces 2013 Signing Class

The Southwest women's basketball program has announced the signing of five student-athletes to NJCAA National Letters of Intent. They will enroll at Southwest in the fall of 2013.

  • Iesha Humphrey, a combo guard from Blytheville, Arkansas, was a three-year starter for Blytheville High School and led her team in scoring and steals. In addition, she was named to the All-Conference team as a senior.
  • Keoshia McGhee, a forward from Douglass High School, averaged 15.4 points per game and ranked among the city leaders with 13.6 rebounds and 2.5 blocked shots per game her senior season. She scored a season high 25 points against Trezevant and grabbed 27 rebounds against Raleigh-Egypt. McGhee was named to the All-District 15AA team and to The Commercial Appeal's Best of the Preps All-Metro Team as a senior.
  • Treasure Redding, a forward from Millington Central High School, averaged 10.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game as a senior. Redding was named to the All-District 14AAA team as a senior and had season highs of 20 points against Arlington and 17 rebounds against Bartlett.
  • Erica Shipp, a forward from Hamilton High School, averaged eight points per game and led her team in rebounding as a senior. She scored a season-high 22 points against East in the quarterfinals of the District 16AAA tournament.
  • Kemahri Soward, a shooting guard from Gosnell, Arkansas, averaged 18.5 points per game as a senior. An All-Conference selection as a senior, Soward scored at least 20 points in 13 games including a season-high of 31 points against Rivercrest.
