Southwest Men's Basketball Team Ranked 11th in National Pre-Season Poll
The Southwest men's basketball team will begin the season as one of the top-ranked teams in the country. The National Junior College Athletic Association has released its Division 1 pre-season poll and the Saluqis are ranked 11th.
It's the second straight season Southwest has been ranked among the NJCAA's top teams in the pre-season and the sixth time since the 2003-04 season. In addition, this year's number 11 pre-season ranking is the second highest ever for Southwest with a number 9 ranking the highest in the 2006-07 season.
