Southwest Baseball Team To Open Season at First Pitch Tournament

The Southwest baseball team will open the 2016 season this weekend at the First Pitch Tournament in Clearwater, Florida with four games in three days. The Saluqis will play the opening game against Calhoun on January 29 followed by a second game that day against Chipola then matchups with South Florida State on January 30 and Broward on January 31.

Sophomore returnees for fifth-year head coach George Sykes are pitchers Caleb Armour, Bradley Crain, infielder Bryan Garren and outfielder Gerald Collazo.
