Are you interested in budgeting, paying off debt, starting a savings plan, establishing or repairing your credit but don't know where to start? If so, this is the workshop for you and it's called Take Your Life Back.

Southwest Tennessee Community College and Operation Hope will partner in hosting a workshop at a Southwest location on various topics including saving money, understanding your credit score, settling accounts, your rights as a consumer and disputing inaccurate information.

The workshop is free and open to the general public. It will be held on October 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Whitehaven Center, 1234 Finley Road in Memphis.

One-on-one financial counseling will also be available upon completion of the workshop.
