For parents seeking new education opportunities for their children, Southwest Early College High School (SECHS) is conducting information sessions designed to inform the public about the school and to recruit potential students. Information sessions will be held on Southwest’s Union Avenue Campus in the Nursing Building Auditorium, Room 101. Session dates and times are as follows: Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m.; Thursday, March 16 at 6 p.m.; and Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m.

Southwest Tennessee Community College has partnered with Artesian Schools to create SECHS. The purpose of this initiative is to graduate students from high school with a diploma and a two-year associate degree. SECHS will launch Fall 2017 on the Union Avenue Campus. The first class will start with 9th grade students and progress yearly through 12th grade. Degree tracks will be offered to students interested in business, information technology and allied health careers.

After each information session, interested parents can complete and submit an Intent to Enroll form indicating their interest in enrolling their child. For additional information, contact SECHS at 901-300-0813.
